Job summary

Eaton's Critical Power and Digital Infrastructure division is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the Youngsville plant in NC. Relocation assistance is available. The role focuses on Lean manufacturing, process improvement, and capital projects across multiple product lines.

The candidate will implement Value Stream Maps, document processes, and drive continuous improvement, with safety as a priority. A bachelor’s in engineering and internship experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution with an anticipated graduation date May 2027.
• Minimum of three (3) months of internship or co-op experience in engineering/manufacturing engineering.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Implement Lean Manufacturing concepts and Value Stream Map evaluations across operations.
• Evaluate current and future state manufacturing processes focusing on safety and repeatability.
• Document processes with work instructions and drive engineering changes to improve quality and reduce costs.
• Initiate and manage capital improvement projects including equipment and facility enhancements.
• Support multiple product lines and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.
