Job summary

Brodie League in New York City is seeking a League Manager to run a Brodie location end to end. On game nights, you lead a floor crew and ensure every game starts on time, on brand, and to the Brodie Standard.

The rest of the week, you own payroll, scheduling, league health, captain communication, and outreach that fills your gym. You report to a District Manager and partner with a City Launcher in smaller markets to grow the league while you run it.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading people in relevant settings.
• Owns a recurring program or location with systems.
• Warm, present in gym environments and strong in basketball community.
• Played, coached, refereed, organized, or captained basketball.
• Fully committed to a full-time role with flexible game-night hours.
• Local and on-site presence at assigned Brodie venue(s).
• Comfortable outreach and CRM/tool usage (e.g., PlayerOne, Rippling, Slack).

Responsibilities

• Lead floor crew (10–15 people; up to 20) on game nights, ensuring branding and punctual starts.
• Run game night to standard; manage launches, live streaming, disputes, and reporting.
• Own athlete experience; respond to captains and players within 24–48 hours.
• Hit retention/growth targets; partner with City Launcher for new teams.
• Schedule season events, manage jerseys/equipment and bookings.
• Handle admin tasks: payroll, timesheets, stats, and balances.
• Work independently on non-game days; keep District Manager updated via CRM.
• Develop and hand off processes so a night runs without you.
