Job summary

Brodie Rec League is hiring a League Manager in New York City to run a Brodie location end to end. You will lead a floor crew on game nights, manage payroll, scheduling, and outreach to keep the gym full, while building strong ties with the local basketball community.

You report to a District Manager and collaborate with a City Launcher in new markets. This full-time role requires on-site presence, strong leadership, and a commitment to the Brodie Standard each week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading people.
• Ownership of something recurring (weekly shift/location/program).
• Warm presence in gym/community.
• Real relationship with basketball/local community.
• Fully committed to a full-time role.
• Local and on-site in market.
• Comfortable selling and following up (CRM experience).

Responsibilities

• Lead your floor crew on game nights (10–20 staff).
• Run game night to Brodie Standard with on-time starts and live streaming.
• Own the athlete experience and respond to messages within 24–48 hours.
• Hit retention and growth targets; collaborate with City Launcher for new teams.
• Plan and run the season (season, playoffs, all-star) in PlayerOne; manage jerseys/equipment.
• Admin duties: review timesheets, payroll, stats and standings.
• Maintain weekly visibility to District Manager via CRM and planning tools.
• Build a self-sufficient location with training and checklists.
