Brodie Rec League is seeking a League Manager to run a Brodie location end to end, from game nights to payroll and outreach. You will lead a floor crew, ensure on-brand execution, and own the weekly operations and athlete experience.

Based in New York City, you will drive retention, recruit teams, and manage roster logistics while ensuring timely communication with captains and staff. This is a full-time role requiring presence in the gym several nights per week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading people, with proven team management experience.
• Warmth and presence to engage athletes and communities in a gym setting.
• Ability to build relationships within local basketball and rec sports circles.
• Comfort selling and following up; logging activity in CRM and scheduling tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead floor crew (Scorekeeper, Referee, Athlete Experience Specialist, media staff) on game nights.
• Ensure games start on time, on brand and per Brodie Standard; complete reporting within 4 hours.
• Own athlete experience; respond to players and captains within 24–48 hours.
• Hit retention and growth targets in partnership with City Launcher, driving new teams and referrals.
• Plan and run the season: schedule playoffs, all-star, divisions, rosters, jerseys, and bookings.
• Own admin tasks: review timesheets and payroll; maintain stats and standings.
• Maintain weekly visibility to District Manager; keep CRM and checklists up to date.
• Build a self-sustaining location by hiring/training the crew and creating handoffs for off-nights.
