Job summary

Brodie Rec League is hiring a League Manager to run a location end to end in Boston. You will lead a floor crew, ensure on-brand game nights, and own payroll, scheduling, and outreach to keep the gym full.

The role requires 3+ years leading teams, strong relationship-building in basketball communities, and full-time commitment with on-site availability for evenings and weekends. Compensation includes base salary plus bonus and commissions.

• Ownership of recurring program/season/work.
• Warmth and presence in gym environments.
• Real relationship with basketball/community.
• Fully committed to a full-time role.
• Local and on site in market.
• Comfortable selling and following up.

Responsibilities

• Lead your floor crew: schedule, brief and manage staff of 10–15 (up to 20) on game nights.
• Run game night to Brodie Standard: prep, on-time starts, live streaming, and post-game reporting.
• Own the athlete experience: greet captains, respond to messages within 24h, and address complaints within 48h.
• Hit retention and growth targets: re-sign teams, drive referrals, partner with City Launcher.
• Build and run the season: schedule regular season, playoffs, all-star, manage jerseys and bookings.
• Own admin tasks: review payroll and timesheets, keep stats and balances.
• Run week without being chased: keep plan visible via CRM and weekly check-ins.
• Build a location that runs without you: hire/train crew, develop handoffs, increase capacity.
