Job summary

Rand Mutual - RMA seeks a Manager: Leadership Development to partner with the Head: Learning and Development and cross-functional management to build leadership capabilities and align them with the organisation’s strategy and operating model.

You will design, deliver and evaluate programmes, coaching, and continuous learning that translate development into improved leadership practice and measurable business outcomes across the group.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 8: Honours Degree in business, HR, education, psychology or related field.
• Masters/PhD in related discipline is advantageous.
• Certifications and/or experience delivering professional development courses.
• 7–10 years of experience in people-development program design and management.
• Minimum of 5 years focused on leadership/organizational development for a large org.
• Experience in program and project management.
• Background in education design and delivery focusing on adult learning.
• Experience engaging with 3rd party vendors.
• Strong diplomacy and ability to build relationships with leaders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement leadership development programmes aligned with strategy and culture.
• Evaluate and revise leadership content for engagement and effectiveness.
• Apply instructional design principles to leadership training programmes.
• Provide input into externally procured and internally developed programmes.
• Develop leadership initiatives for managers and individual contributors.
• Develop and implement coaching and mentoring framework; oversee executive coaching.
• Create learning materials to support programmes and address gaps.
• Oversee logistics and administration of virtual and in-person programmes.
• Manage programme budget and monitor vendor quality and value.
• Coordinate with culture and performance initiatives to ensure alignment.
