Job summary

BRG is seeking a Senior Learning and Development Specialist to design, develop, and execute firm-wide training programs in a hybrid role based in Washington, DC. This person will lead program design, facilitate training sessions, and partner with HR and leaders to align development with BRG goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in L&D, strong facilitation and communication skills, and experience with Workday Learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years in learning and development or related role.
• Experience designing/instructing ILT programs.
• Experience at a consulting firm or professional services is preferred.
• Experience in Workday Learning is highly desirable.
• Strong facilitation and written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time and priorities.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to build rapport with internal stakeholders to deliver training.
• Experience leading change management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and refine learning and development programs.
• Coordinate and facilitate trainings (in-person, virtual, e-learning).
• Oversee logistics for live trainings, including venue contracts.
• Create and administer employee surveys to evaluate programs.
• Design engaging learning experiences (classroom, e-learning, blended).
• Create and maintain program materials.
• Partner with leaders to assess training needs and objectives.
• Collaborate with HR on performance management, recruiting, inclusivity.
• Support compliance training within Workday Learning.
• Develop a portfolio of learning programs and training paths.
• Oversee Continuing Professional Education resources.
