Job summary

SBA Communications is seeking a Principal Global HRIS Analyst to lead Workday Compensation configuration and governance. You will partner with HR, Finance and Total Rewards to design merit cycles, bonus planning, stock awards, and salary ranges while ensuring governance and data integrity across systems.

The role requires deep Workday HCM expertise, strong project leadership, and experience delivering global compensation programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR, IS, Business, Finance, or related field.
7+ years of Workday HCM experience.
5+ years of Advanced Compensation configuration experience.
Experience supporting global compensation programs.
Led compensation cycle implementations and enhancements.
Strong Workday configuration, reporting and security knowledge.

Responsibilities

Configure and maintain Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules, including packages, grades, profiles and targets.
Design and manage compensation plans, eligibility rules, salary grades, pay ranges, bonus plans, commissions, and stock plans.
Develop and maintain compensation business processes, approvals, notifications, security roles, calculations and eligibility criteria.
Configure compensation review cycles, merit planning, bonus allocation and promotions-related changes.
Support annual compensation planning activities including merit increases and long-term incentive programs.
Support compensation modeling, forecasting and budget validation.
Analyze existing compensation processes and recommend improvements.
Design scalable solutions to support global compensation programs.
Ensure data integrity across compensation, payroll and HR systems.
Gather requirements and translate business needs into Workday solutions; lead testing for releases and UAT coordination.
Create and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and scorecards to analyze compensation trends.
