Job summary

Leigh & Co. Events is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator to manage on-site wedding planning and execution. You will serve as the lead planner, coordinating with clients, vendors, and our team to ensure a seamless event from setup through breakdown.

Requirements include 2 years of wedding/event planning experience, strong communication, attention to detail, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Weekend work is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
• Must have strong communication skills and be detail oriented.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to work weekends is essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend a final details call with clients 4-6 weeks prior to the wedding.
• Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal on the day before the wedding.
• Serve as the primary advocate for the couple onsite and manage challenges.
• Oversee ceremony and reception setup per design and playbook.
• Manage full wedding day execution from vendor arrival to breakdown.
• Greet, direct, and be the main contact for all vendors.
• Communicate setup instructions clearly to vendors.
• Coordinate placement of escort cards, menus, table numbers, décor.
• Support wedding party and family with timing and day-of needs.
• Ensure end-of-event items are packed and accounted for.
• Proactively handle last-minute changes to maintain guest experience.
• Ability to work weekends is essential.
