Job summary

Leigh & Co. Events is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator to manage wedding planning on-site, coordinating with client experience managers and assistants. The role is contract-based with a flexible schedule and training provided.

The project pays $400 for 10–12 hours and supports our 2026 season and beyond. Ideal candidates will lead weddings onsite, manage vendor coordination, and ensure a seamless guest experience from setup to breakdown.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
• Must have strong communication skills and be detail oriented.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Attend a final details call with clients 4–6 weeks prior to the wedding to confirm logistics, timeline, and expectations.
• Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal on the day prior to the wedding, ensuring participants are confident in timing and cues.
• Serve as the primary advocate for the couple onsite, maintaining a calm, solutions-focused presence and supporting them through challenges.
• Oversee ceremony and reception setup in alignment with the event design and our day-of execution playbook.
• Manage full wedding day execution from vendor arrival through final breakdown.
• Greet, direct, and act as the main contact for vendors.
• Communicate setup instructions clearly to vendors to align with the event plan.
• Coordinate placement of escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest book, and décor elements.
• Support the wedding party and family with guidance and timing cues.
• Ensure end-of-event items are packed and accounted for.
• Proactively manage and resolve last-minute changes to maintain a smooth guest experience.
