Leigh & Co. Events is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator for the 2026 season and beyond. This onsite, contract role offers a flexible schedule and training. Pay is $350 for a total of 10–12 hours, paid per project, with weekend availability required.

You will serve as lead planner, coordinating with client experience managers and onsite coordinators to ensure flawless weddings and outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail oriented and highly organized.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead planner onsite to execute weddings per design and playbook.
• Attend final details call with clients ~6 weeks before the wedding.
• Lead ceremony rehearsal and manage timing, cues and flow.
• Oversee setup and day-of execution from vendor arrival to breakdown.
• Greet and direct vendors; communicate setup instructions.
• Coordinate placement of escort cards, menus, table numbers, and decor.
• Support wedding party and family with guidance and cues.
• Ensure end-of-event items are packed and accounted for.
• Proactively manage last-minute changes to maintain guest experience.
• Weekend work is essential.
