Job summary

Leigh & Co. Events is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator to serve as the onsite lead planner for weddings. This contract role offers the flexibility to pick your own schedule and includes training. Pay is $400 for a total of 10-12 hours per project, with weddings for the 2026 season and beyond.

You will work alongside client experience managers and assistant coordinators to execute weddings onsite, managing vendor coordination, timelines, setup, and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
• Must have strong communication skills and be detail oriented.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs.
• Weekend availability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend final details calls with clients 4–6 weeks prior to wedding to confirm logistics, timeline and expectations.
• Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal a day before the wedding.
• Serve as primary advocate for the couple onsite and support them through challenges.
• Oversee ceremony and reception setup aligned with design and playbook.
• Manage full wedding day execution from vendor arrival to breakdown.
• Greet and direct vendors; be main point of contact onsite.
