Job summary

Leigh & Co. Events, a fast‑growing wedding planning company, seeks a Lead Wedding Coordinator for our 2026 season and beyond. This contract role offers flexible scheduling and onsite work, with training provided. Pay is $400 per project for 10–12 hours, paid per project, and weekends are essential.

You will serve as lead planner, coordinating logistics, rehearsal, vendor management, and day‑of execution with a calm, client‑focused presence.

Qualifications

2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner is required.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
Reliable transportation is required.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and assist with setup is needed.
Weekend work is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

Lead as the primary wedding planner onsite from start to finish.
Oversee ceremony and reception setup following the design and playbook.
Coordinate with vendors and family to ensure smooth execution.
Greet, direct, and be the main point of contact for all vendors.
Communicate setup instructions clearly to vendors and oversee placement of details.
Support the wedding party and family with timing cues and day‑of needs.
Ensure all end‑of‑event items are packed and accounted for.
Proactively handle last‑minute changes to maintain guest experience.
