Job summary

Arvato is a leading global 3PL provider handling supply chain management and e-commerce for multiple industries. The Operations Supervisor will manage labor and equipment in the warehouse, ensuring timely, quality order completion, while aligning with our customer-focused standards.

You will plan, organize, and monitor receiving, storage, and distribution from suppliers or production shops and train on assigned shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environments.
• Knowledge of picking, packing, and shipping tasks.
• SAP or equivalent WMS systems experience.
• 3-5 years of Supervisory experience or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Hire and ensure proper training of new employees for the department.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of employees and monitor departmental functions on the floor.
• Receive and transfer materials.
• Performance management of all employees (KPIs).
• Document, update, and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment levels for the department.
• Monitor and adhere to customer requests and vendor-specific shipping requirements.
• Update and maintain timekeeping and metrics in business systems, as they relate to WMS reporting.
• Ensure that shift-end specific department procedures with all systems are completed and floor end-of-shift closeout is followed.
• New customer integration and migration testing.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Understand traffic coordination.
• Continuous involvement and support with departmental process improvements.
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
• Follow and maintain 5S Program and guidelines.
• Perform any additional tasks to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment
