Job summary

Staples is seeking a Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator at our Jacksonville location. You will mentor and train staff, and fill in for supervisors as needed while operating forklifts and related equipment to move products within the warehouse.

Safety is the priority; you will ensure safe work practices and maintain a clean, efficient workspace. Experience in warehouse settings and the ability to meet lifting requirements are essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new material handlers and fill in for supervisors.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, electric pallet jacks).
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace and follow safety procedures.
• Contribute to Staples Supply Chain delivering products to customers.
