Staples is hiring a Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator in Fort Myers, FL. You will mentor and train new staff, operate forklifts and related equipment, and ensure a clean, safe workspace while following all safety protocols.

The role requires warehouse experience, a safety mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with seasonal changes. Full-time schedule includes early shifts with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 12+ months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Must pass a drug screen where legally permissible.

Responsibilities

• Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator duties and mentor new staff.
• Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow safety procedures.
• Support supervisors as needed.
