Job summary

Staples, Inc. in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator to mentor staff and cover for supervisors as needed. You’ll operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, and electric pallet jacks while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse.

Shift is 9:00pm-5:30am, Sunday-Thursday. You must lift up to 100 pounds, pass a drug screen, and be on your feet 100%. Staples offers competitive pay, shoes after 30 days, PTO, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• 12+ months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Overtime may be required for full-time associates.
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Must wear safety composite work shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator, mentor and train new material handlers, and fill in for supervisors as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, electric pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Contribute to Staples Supply Chain success by meeting customer needs.
