Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a VDC professional to lead on-site BIM coordination for complex construction projects in San Antonio. You will review design models, manage coordination meetings, and drive VDC workflows in partnership with design partners, trades, and clients.

The role requires strong knowledge of BIM tools (Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD) and scripting (Dynamo, Python), with experience in reality capture and continuous improvement practices. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in VDC or related field with minimum 4 years related experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to read/interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, and project schedule.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, codes, and specifications related to VDC.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Familiar with continuous improvement culture and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead review of design models for construction projects on site using VDC tools.
• Coordinate BIM processes and meetings with stakeholders; manage submittals and RFIs.
• Support production tracking, 4D modelling, and scheduling via BIM workflows.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and deploy innovative VDC tools.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction and Reality Capture teams on VDC workflows.
