Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced VDC professional to lead on-site BIM coordination and review design models with stakeholders on projects in San Antonio. The role involves coordinating BIM processes, meetings, RFIs, and document control, while advancing VDC workflows in collaboration with Preconstruction and Reality Capture teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelors in VDC or related field, 4+ years of experience, and proficiency with Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in VDC or related field with 4+ years’ experience or equivalent.
• Reading/interpreting contract docs, drawings, specs, and project schedules.
• Strong communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, codes, and specifications related to VDC.
• Ability to develop solutions, anticipate challenges, and manage risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead VDC processes, review design models on site with stakeholders.
• Coordinate BIM processes, meetings, and RFIs; manage document control.
• Perform VDC tasks: model coordination, submittals, and quality control.
• Develop BIM execution plans and support 4D modelling and production tracking.
• Support on-site constructability solutions and communication with teams.
• Assist in deploying new VDC tools and capture lessons learned.
