Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a VDC professional to lead virtual design and construction efforts on active projects. You will coordinate BIM deliverables, review models with stakeholders, and ensure alignment with project schedules and specifications.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in VDC or related field, plus 4+ years of experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. On-site work with travel to project sites will be involved as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Virtual Design and Construction or related field; 4+ years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs and schedules.
• Familiarity with BIM standards, codes, and VDC workflows.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead VDC processes and review design models for construction projects on-site.
• Coordinate BIM processes with stakeholders; manage submittals and RFIs.
• Conduct BIM coordination meetings; track actions and maintain documentation.
• Develop and implement BIM execution plans; support virtual design tasks like 4D scheduling and takeoffs.
• Assist in continuous improvement of VDC tools and workflows.
• Travel as required and collaborate across teams.
