Job summary

Exelon is seeking a skilled Project Manager in Illinois to lead complex transmission, substation, and other critical projects with cross-functional teams. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, and safety, guiding initiatives from business case through closeout and interfacing with senior stakeholders.

The role requires 7–10 years of PM experience (or 9–12 without a degree), PMP or progression toward it, and a proven leadership track in high‑performance environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 7–10 years PM experience, or 9–12 years without a degree.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or achieve PMP within two years of job entry
• Proven leadership ability in a high-performance culture and strong communication

Responsibilities

• Manage complex projects from scope to closeout within budget.
• Interface with external customers for transmission and substation projects.
• Coordinate resources across multiple disciplines and operating areas.
• Provide executive-level project status reports and risk management.
