The role requires strong leadership, 6+ years of transmission line/substation experience, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant transmission line and substation work experience required.
• Experience in the utility industry is highly preferred.
• Proficient with computers and standard office software; valid driver's license; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractor performance on transmission projects and ensure compliance with contract terms.
• Monitor safety, schedule, and design specification adherence across projects.
• Manage substation upgrades and construction of new substations.
• Identify issues impacting timelines, quality, or safety and assist in resolution.
• Interpret engineering drawings and apply them to construction activities.
• Mentor and train junior Transmission Construction Representatives.
• Ensure compliance with Owner construction standards and safety terms.
