Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager for our Energy & Resources line to lead multi-discipline teams on thermal generation projects across North America. You will guide execution, manage risk, and ensure alignment with our project management framework while supporting business development as a seller-doer.

The role requires 15+ years in power generation with Owner’s Engineer or detailed engineering experience, and a PE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering design and construction experience with power plant projects.
• Expertise in project management including leadership, scheduling, and controls.
• Strong communicator with experience managing a team and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management expertise to our team.
• Manage energy projects/programs and coordinate with leaders.
• Contribute to project management best practices and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with leadership, discipline leads, clients, vendors and sub-contractors.
• Lead or support proposals and mentor junior staff.
• Achieve utilization targets as agreed annually.
