Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager for its Energy & Resources line to lead multi-discipline teams on thermal generation projects across North America. You will drive execution, client satisfaction, and risk management while supporting business development as a seller-doer.

This role requires collaboration across offices and geographies and frequent travel to US/Canada sites. The successful candidate will bring extensive power project experience, strong leadership, and a proactive, value-based

Qualifications

• Engineering design and construction experience with power plant projects.
• Expertise in project management including team leadership, resource management, scheduling, project controls, reporting and document controls.
• Strong leader, team player, collaborator and communicator with interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management expertise to our team.
• Manage energy projects/programs.
• Support and contribute to PM best practices and methodologies.
• Coordinate with leadership, discipline leads, clients, and vendors.
• Manage alignment and consistency of project execution.
• Support client relationship management and staff coaching.
• Lead or support proposals and business development.
• Mentor junior staff and achieve utilization targets.
