GE Aerospace's Intergalactic division seeks a Lead Engineer 1 - Thermal Dynamics to guide analytical modeling and trade studies, shaping a system architecture that meets customer requirements. You will lead modeling efforts, correlate test data, and maintain system models and libraries while working with a multi-disciplinary team.

This role requires deep thermal-fluid expertise, MATLAB/Simulink or Python scripting, and strong cross-functional leadership. Remote or on-site in St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of relevant experience; advanced degrees count toward experience.
• Deep knowledge of thermal fluids, modeling, verification, and validation.
• Experience with VCS/LCS/ACS and aerospace environmental testing is preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead modeling/analysis and coordinate activities with engineering groups.
• Develop system architecture and ensure performance requirements compliance.
• Manage technical requirements traceability, decomposition, and verification.
• Coordinate with program management and suppliers; transition to production.
