Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Lead Engineer 1 - Thermal Dynamics to provide analytical modeling and lead component and system level trade studies. You will develop architectures to meet customer requirements and perform thermal modeling while maintaining system models and libraries.

Work with a multi-disciplinary team across thermal/aerospace analysis, installation, mechanical design, reliability, controls, electronics and software to advance programs. Remote or on-site in St. George, UT may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 8-10 years of relevant experience; advanced degrees satisfy part of experience.
• Deep expertise in thermal fluid sciences including fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
• Experience with VCS, LCS, ACS and modeling of related components.

Responsibilities

• Assist Systems Engineer in developing system architecture and technical approach.
• Identify and manage technical risks related to thermal performance.
• Lead modeling/analysis activities and coordinate with engineering groups.
