Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Lead Engineer 1 - Thermal Dynamics to drive analytical modeling for systems engineering and trade studies. You will lead thermal modeling, correlations, and test data analysis to shape architectures meeting customer requirements.

You will collaborate across disciplines and ensure requirements traceability while supporting progression from prototype to production. Remote or on-site in St. George Utah options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 8–10 years of relevant experience; advanced degrees considered.
• Deep knowledge of thermal fluid sciences, modeling and system analysis.
• Experience with VCS, LCS or ACS in aerospace environments.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810/DO-160 testing and environmental qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead thermal modeling and analysis to support system architecture and performance requirements.
• Coordinate modeling activities with other engineering teams and manage technical risks.
• Develop and verify system models, trace requirements, and support transition to production.
• Provide engineering support for troubleshooting non‑performing products and tests.
