Job summary

KeyBank in New City, NY is seeking a Lead Teller to act as a resource for complex client service needs and to coach tellers in delivering exceptional service. The role manages teller scheduling, ensures branch compliance, and supports the Branch Manager in onboarding new tellers.

You will identify financial wellness opportunities, guide clients to bankers, and promote bank products while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and regulatory procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years demonstrated superior client relationship skills (required).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in cash handling (required).
• Notary License preferred (certification flexibility).
• Strong sales and service skills with ability to educate clients on banking channels.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve complex client servicing issues in person and via channels.
• Lead teller line scheduling, observe performance, and coach tellers.
• Mentor tellers to enhance client experience and operational effectiveness.
• Assist Branch Manager in onboarding and training new tellers.
• Ensure branch compliance with regulatory, security, and internal audit controls.
