Job summary

Senior Tellers back up the Head Teller, lead by example in service and operations, coach teammates, and help with branch procedures while maintaining compliance, accurate cash handling, and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year teller experience and/or cash handling preferred.
• 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to identify customer needs during transactions and suggest products.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Identify customer needs and refer to appropriate bank platform.
• Follow service standards in every interaction.
• Address customer issues or escalate to branch staff.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations and procedures.
• Perform daily operations including balancing and ATM/vault tasks.
• Mitigate risk by following compliance procedures.
• Assist Head Teller with operational tasks and quarterly assessments.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to tellers when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
