The role provides technical leadership through all commissioning phases, mentors Technical Services staff, and ensures high-quality execution with minimal supervision. The position requires travel 30-40% and PE license with an engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 7+ years in engineering design, energy management, or retro commissioning.
• PE license is required.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute all technical design, pre-construction, and construction-phase tasks.
• Lead site surveys to assess existing facility conditions.
• Integrate energy conservation strategies for unified energy management.
• Collaborate with project engineers to align with codes and standards.
• Advise the team on technical and resource needs with the engineer of record.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment and optimize upgrades.
• Identify gaps and develop standards to resolve issues.
• Develop new tools to support project execution.
• Provide leadership and mentorship within Technical Services.
• Develop training material and post-implementation operations training.
