Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Technical Services Engineer to support Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) projects across higher education and healthcare portfolios. The role focuses on HVAC systems, building automation, and energy conservation strategies with multi-building coordination.

You will lead design, commissioning, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, while mentoring Technical Services staff and ensuring high-quality delivery in a client-focused environment. Travel and PE credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering design, energy management, or retro commissioning.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute all design, pre-construction, and construction-phase engineering tasks.
• Lead site surveys to assess conditions and requirements.
• Integrate energy conservation strategies across systems.
• Collaborate with engineers of record to align with codes and standards.
• Advise on technical and resource needs to meet project outcomes.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment/systems and optimize upgrades.
• Develop new tools to support project execution.
• Provide leadership and mentoring within Technical Services.
• Prepare training materials and conduct post-implementation training.
