Job summary

ENFRA seeks a Technical Services Engineer to support Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) projects, delivering technical expertise across commissioning phases with a focus on HVAC, building automation, and energy conservation for multi-building portfolios in higher education and healthcare.

The role requires 7+ years of engineering experience and a PE license, with the ability to lead site surveys, mentor Technical Services staff, and collaborate across teams to drive optimal energy performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
7+ years of experience in engineering design, energy management, or retro commissioning.
Professional Engineering (PE) license.
Proven leadership skills with the demonstrated ability to develop and mentor others.
Advanced ability to problem solve, analyze complex systems, and manage competing project deadlines.

Responsibilities

Independently executes all technical design, pre-construction, and construction-phase engineering tasks.
Leads site surveys to determine existing facility conditions and requirements to complete the scope of work.
Integrates all energy conservation strategies to ensure a comprehensive approach to energy management.
Collaborates with the engineer of record to ensure alignment with codes and company standards.
Advises the project team on technical and resource requirements necessary to meet project outcomes.
Troubleshoots complex equipment and system installations and optimizes complex upgrades.
Develops training material for Technical Services teams and provides post-implementation operations training for staff.
