Job summary

Affirm is hiring a manager to lead a team of Technical Account Managers supporting SMB merchants. You will guide the team through the full lifecycle from integration to expansion, ensuring technical success and optimal use of Affirm’s product suite.

You will work cross-functionally with Client Success, Product, Operations, and Merchant Care to advocate for merchants and drive strategic outcomes. A strong technical background and people leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a B2B customer-facing technical role.
• Minimum 3 years in people management.
• Strong background in web development technologies and REST APIs.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor and develop a team of Technical Account Managers supporting SMB merchants.
• Collaborate with Client Success to grow merchants and maximize use of Affirm’s product suite post-launch.
• Establish and track team OKRs and proactive action plans to meet goals.
• Forecast TAM demand and recruit as needed.
• Evaluate new hires on technical capabilities and guide on integrations, troubleshooting and optimization.
