Job summary

GALLO is seeking an Assistant Manager of the Tasting Room in St. Helena, CA to lead daily tasting room operations, deliver memorable guest experiences, and drive sales and wine club growth.

You will coach staff, manage schedules, and coordinate events while upholding brand standards and exceptional service. You will leverage wine knowledge and leadership skills to train team members, manage inventory, and ensure regulatory compliance, safety, and customer privacy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in wine sales, luxury sales, brand marketing, retail or hospitality with increasing responsibility
• Must be 21+, weekends and flexible schedule
• Able to lift 45 pounds

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day tasting room operations and ensure excellent guest experiences
• Coach and develop tasting room staff, coordinate staffing and workflow
• Oversee inventory, supplies, scheduling, reporting, POS and CRM systems
• Support regulatory compliance, safety and hospitality standards
