Job summary

Sterling Vineyards, a renowned Napa Valley winery, seeks a Tasting Room Lead to guide guest interactions, pour wines, and drive sales. You will supervise Hospitality Associates, lead tastings, and collaborate with the Assistant Hospitality Manager to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in wine sales or hospitality, are highly organized, and can work flexible shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' wine sales, restaurant and/or hospitality service experience.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and require minimal day-to-day direction.
• Able to travel to other Company locations when needed.
• Flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, pour wines, and educate guests with enthusiasm.
• Host tastings and tours reflecting the Sterling Vineyards brand.
• Lead daily activities of Hospitality Associates as shift supervisor.
• Process POS transactions accurately and report tips.
• Build long-term guest relationships and promote wine club membership.
• Maintain guest service standards and support special events.
