Job summary

Qualifications

BLS certification with American Heart Association within 30 days.
Certificate of Completion in Surgical Technology.
Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology.

Responsibilities

Prepare for surgeon-specific procedures in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
Ensure instruments, equipment, and sutures are complete and functional.
Set up sterile field and scrub before patient entry; assist as needed.
Maintain organized back table and mayo setups for smooth case flow.
Provide appropriate items and resources; avoid unnecessary openings.
Support smooth case flow and efficient intraoperative care.
Precept and mentor surgical techs and RNs for various procedures.
Be prepared for on-call hours, weekends, and holidays per policy.
