Job summary

Amity Foundation in the United States seeks a Supervising Counselor to lead face-to-face rehabilitative programming within the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program. You will supervise staff, coach performance, and ensure compliance with program requirements.

The role emphasizes mentorship, adherence to confidentiality, and collaboration with CDCR/CCHCS and other partners to support participants through the continuum of care.

Qualifications

• Certified AOD counselor with a DHCS-approved org.
• Minimum 2 years of certified AOD counseling experience.
• DHCS-recognized AOD certification or licensed professional per contract.

Responsibilities

• Supervise approximately six AOD Counseling/Peer Navigator staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching and training.
• Monitor contractor staff performance and implement corrective actions.
• Assess counseling staff progress toward AOD certification.
• Oversee orientation and intake for new participants.
• Approve and monitor relapse prevention/CBI action plans.
• Track participants and counselor assignments and progress.
• Train and monitor ARMS documentation for compliance.
• Provide OMCP Mentors training and supervision.
• Coordinate and supervise OMCP Mentors and internship hours verification.
• Work with CDCR/CCHCS and contracted staff.
