Job summary

Amity Foundation, an internationally acclaimed teaching and therapeutic community, seeks compassionate individuals to join as Counselor II/III (ISUDT). The Counselor III is responsible for delivering face-to-face rehabilitative programming in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP) inside a state prison.

The role includes facilitating CBI classes, conducting sessions, and documenting progress in ARMS, while collaborating with CDCR/CCHCS HQ and contracted staff to support

Qualifications

• Counselor II: Certified as an AOD Counselor OR Counselor III: Certified as an AOD Counselor, with one year of full-time experience providing certified AOD counseling services.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CBI classes using evidence-based curriculum.
• Conduct class and individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans.
• Evaluate and document the progress of participants.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS HQ, local institutions, and contracted staff.
• Other related duties as assigned.
