Job summary

Amity Foundation is seeking a Supervising Counselor to lead face-to-face rehabilitative services within the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP). This role operates in an environment that includes prison and re-entry settings, offering opportunities to mentor staff and contribute to community rehabilitation.

The role requires AOD Counselor certification with at least two years of experience, strong organizational leadership, and proficiency with ARMS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Certified AOD Counselor with DHCS-recognized cert.
• Two years of experience as a certified AOD counselor.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage programs.
• Knowledge of ISUDTP or related contracts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise approximately six AOD staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching.
• Monitor Contractor staff performance, including corrective actions.
• Assess and monitor progress toward AOD certification.
• Oversee orientation and intake processes for new participants.
• Coordinate and supervise OMCP Mentors and ensure internship hours.
