Job summary

Amity Foundation seeks a compassionate Supervising Counselor to oversee face-to-face rehabilitative services within the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP). You will supervise a team, coach staff, and monitor progress while ensuring program compliance and quality care.

The role emphasizes leadership, formal AOD certification, and experience in a correctional or community setting, with a focus on training, mentoring, and program oversight.

Qualifications

• Certified as an AOD Counselor with a DHCS-approved organization.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a certified AOD counselor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise approximately six AOD counseling staff and provide coaching.
• Track staff performance and provide training as needed.
• Monitor staff progress toward AOD certification and program goals.
• Oversee orientation and intake for new participants and document progress.
• Ensure compliance with program requirements and ARMS documentation.
