Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking a Substation Engineer - Protection and Controls to design substations, set relay protections, and support field commissioning across multiple U.S. sites including Overland Park, KS.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited), 6+ years in substation engineering, experience with relay protection and SCADA, and proficiency in MicroStation/AutoCAD. Travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• PE license is preferred or required for reciprocity.
• Experience with relay protection schemes and relay logic.

Responsibilities

• Substation design and drafting including single line diagrams and layouts.
• Perform protection calculations and relay setting development.
• Develop technical specs and work scopes for projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and provide field support during construction.
• Ensure delivery meets standards and client requirements.
• Provide on-site support for commissioning and testing.
