Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• Minimum of 6 years in substation engineering focusing on protection and control.
• Familiarity with relay protection schemes and relay logic.
• Basic understanding of SCADA design.
• PE license preferred; active NCEES reciprocity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Substation design and drafting including single line diagrams and control layouts.
• Perform protection calculations, grounding analyses, and relay setting adjustments.
• Develop relay settings for protective features with other departments and vendors.
• Draft technical specifications and work scopes.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure on-time, compliant electrical design.
• Provide field technical support for ENERCON clients during construction and commissioning.
