American Structurepoint, Inc. is seeking a Structural Technical Director to lead the Structural Group's technical direction and set standards for complex projects. You will cultivate group capabilities, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality, constructible solutions across our portfolio.

The role involves coordinating multi-office teams, performing QA/QC reviews, and presenting technical guidance to clients. Travel to offices is expected as projects require.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• PE or SE licensure; PE license acceptable if SE exam passed.
• 15+ years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Experience with high-rise, post-tensioned concrete, and complex finite element modeling.
• Strong QA/QC and project leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for building and vertical structural projects.
• Develop engineering staff and promote high technical proficiency.
• Maintain Structural Group standards and modeling practices.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of calculations, drawings, and specs.
• Manage QA/QC process for the Structural Group.
• Develop internal training material and participate in performance reviews.
• Represent the firm as a structural engineering expert to clients.
