Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer License (PE or PEng).
• At least 10 years of Structural Engineering experience.
• Experience with US building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI and AISC.
• Experience with Structural Engineering analysis software, Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, perform all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering analysis and design.
• Plan and conduct work requiring judgement in evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques.
• Exhibit attention to detail and quality control, including checking your own work and peers' work.
• Take responsibility for workload, meet schedules, and own the structural scope.
• Develop leadership skills by guiding designers/drafters and junior engineers.
