Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain US Government security clearance.
• 10+ years of progressive structural engineering experience.
• Experience with foundations, structures, and support structures.
• Experience with ACI, ASCE 7, IBC, and AISC.
• DOE site experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel for project locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design engineering efforts on multi-disciplined project teams.
• Produce engineering calculations, analyses, drawings, specs, and reports.
• Apply civil/structural expertise to design and qualification of structures, systems, components.
• Produce procurement and construction specifications (Structural sections).
• Monitor staff work, manage tasks within schedule and budget.
• Attend project meetings and conduct field walkdowns; mentor junior engineers.
