RTX is seeking an experienced Principal Structural Engineer in the US to lead detailed structural analyses across program phases, from concepts to production, using FEA tools like PATRAN, NASTRAN and ANSYS. You will develop test plans, validate models with test data, and guide peers while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

You will travel to test sites, mentor teams, and help define MA&T processes. A DoD security clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of related experience.
• Experience with structural analysis using PATRAN, NASTRAN, ANSYS or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain active DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform detailed structural analyses across all program phases.
• Generate test plans to validate analyses and hardware.
• Analyze test data to validate models and generate loads.
• Lead technical peer reviews and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Present results to internal and external customers.
• Produce archival technical reports.
