Hanson Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Bridge Engineer to lead major highway and railway bridge projects within our Infrastructure Market.

You will perform advanced structural calculations, analyze designs with industry software, and collaborate with senior staff on national initiatives. Ideal candidates hold a PE license, 5+ years of experience, and have exposure to DOT bridge practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelors with structural coursework required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in structural engineering.
• PE license required; SE license preferred or eligible.
• Experience with DOT/IDOT/FDOT/TxDOT bridge work encouraged.
• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor staff.
• Familiarity with design-build processes and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist in leading bridge projects within Infrastructure Market.
• Perform complex calculations and use software for analysis and design.
• Collaborate with senior staff on national projects.
• Prepare specifications, details, and construction plans.
• Assign duties, manage budgets, and mentor staff.
• Prepare calculations, take-offs, and cost estimates.
• Support pursuits, proposals, and fee development.
• Develop project scopes and fee proposals.
• Other related duties as assigned.
