Job summary

Goodwill West Texas in Snyder, TX seeks a store supervisor to maintain production flow, drive sales, and ensure a clean, secure store environment. You will supervise staff, train associates, and promote core values while delivering an excellent donor and customer experience.

Responsibilities include overseeing donation processing, merchandise display, and accurate cash register operations, with emphasis on safety and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• 6 months Goodwill or supervisory experience required.
• High School/GED preferred.
• Ability to supervise and motivate employees.
• Ability to handle the needs of barrier/disabled employees sensitively.
• Ability to communicate appropriately with coworkers and donors.
• Ability to operate and balance POS and tagging systems.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and greet customers.
• Lead team in donation door, cash wrap and store experience (E).
• Ensure donations are accepted graciously; provide receipts.
• Perform all donation process steps to ensure smooth flow of quality donations (E).
• Merchandise and display items; maintain floor design and housekeeping (E).
• Complete all sales transactions accurately; monitor and train staff (E).
• Navigate and troubleshoot databases such as POS and tagging systems (E).
• Support with round-up programs and ensure staff are trained (E).
• Monitor process flow and implement improvements as needed (E).
• Display product knowledge and value of donated goods (E).
• Lead regular safety checks (E).
• Maintain security protocols for money handling and access (E).
• Keep accurate records and achieve goals (E).
• Assist with floor moves and merchandising; maintain cleanliness (E).
• Monitor stock and replenish merchandise as needed (E).
• Enforce company policies including pricing and loss prevention (E).
• Make appropriate decisions in emergencies and various situations (E).
• Communicate positively with coworkers and others (E).
• Coach and train new staff; provide ongoing development.
