Goodwill West Texas is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Brady, TX. The role oversees daily store operations, drives sales, and supervises staff to ensure excellent customer service across donation, sales floor, and cash wrap. You will train employees, manage inventory, and enforce safety and loss-prevention measures.

The position requires supervisory experience, good computer skills, and the ability to lead a diverse team while maintaining strong community-focused mission values.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience preferred
• High School/GED preferred
• Must be able to read, write and operate computer

• Monitor process flow and improve donated/new goods to floor to secure a sale
• Provide outstanding customer service in a friendly environment
• Train and mentor employees to greet customers, demonstrate product knowledge, and address needs
• Lead at the donation door to ensure donations are accepted and donors receive receipts
• Proficient with POS system and scanning technology
• Complete all sales transactions including discounts, tax exemptions, voids, cash donations
• Maintain security and safeguard the facility
• Manage intake and inventory of new goods; organize and secure stock
