AT&T in Bothell, Washington is seeking a Lead Member of Technical Staff to join the Residential Gateway Operations Engineering team. You will design and build intelligent platforms that analyze telemetry from millions of devices and drive autonomous operations to improve broadband service.

Qualifications

• Experience building AI-powered tools that improve operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of large-scale telemetry analytics, streaming data platforms, data engineering, or data science techniques.
• Experience developing platforms that support fault detection, anomaly detection, or automated remediation.
• Familiarity with broadband, networking, residential gateways, or telecom environments.
• Experience influencing technical direction across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software platforms that ingest, analyze, and act on telemetry from millions of residential broadband devices.
• Build AI-enabled applications and operational workflows utilizing LLMs, agents, and machine intelligence.
• Create large-scale analytics and automation solutions that identify software defects and anomalies.
• Develop automated root cause analysis capabilities that correlate data across ecosystems.
• Design and implement automated remediation solutions that safely resolve known issues with minimal human intervention.
• Partner with engineering, product, software development, operations, and vendor teams to improve platform reliability and customer experience.
• Drive technical strategy and architecture decisions for autonomous operations platforms.
